Level 2 Safeguarding (Bromley level 3)

Who should attend this course?

This Level 2 safeguarding programme (Bromley Level 3) is for school and college staff who have pastoral, mentoring or Head of Year responsibilities for students.

Where is the course held?

This course can be delivered by one of our experienced trainers at your school or college as a half-day/3-hour programme. Please note that attendees must be from the same school or college.

You may also attend this course as a one-day programme at our Training Centre in Bromley where you will receive refreshments and a sandwich lunch.

What is the course content?

This course will cover the following:

  • Understanding roles and responsibilities in safeguarding
  • Key guidance and legislation
  • Identifying, assessing and meeting needs
  • Child-focussed interventions
  • Impact of parenting capacity
  • The barriers to disclosure
  • Key safeguarding partnerships
  • Promoting safe professional practice
  • Safeguarding post 16 and adult learners
What is the duration of this course?

Typical timings for this half day/3-hour course at your school or college are from 9.00am to 12.00pm or from 1.00pm to 4.00pm.

Timings at our Training Centre in Bromley are from 9.00am to 4.00pm.

Is this course certificated and what is its validity?

Certificates of attendance will be issued to attendees as Bromley Level 3/London Safeguarding Children Partnership Level 2 at the end of the training course. Although not mandatory, we recommend that this training is updated every three years.
